Abstract. Purpose. Scientific research was conducted in 2021–2024 on the experimental field of Federal Research Center for Bast Fiber Crops in the conditions of Penza region. In the experiment 3 seeding rates (Factor A) were studied: 2.0; 2.5; 3.0 million/ha and foliar fertilizers (Factor B): Izagri Azot; Izagri Vita; Izagri Fosfor and Gumat + 7 in order to determine the influence of the studied agrotechnical methods on the formation of crop structure and yield of sown hemp. Methods. The research was carried out in accordance with the methodological guidelines for conducting field and vegetation experiments with hemp. Fertilization of plants according to the scheme of the experiment was carried out in the phase of 3 pairs and 5–6 pairs of leaves with a backpack sprayer “Kwazar” with a slotted atomizer, harvesting and accounting of yield by manual mowing of stems and threshing of harvested sheaves after their drying on the stationary, seed and stem yield was brought to standard moisture content. Scientific novelty. The influence of foliar fertilization of a new variety of hemp Lyudmila, providing an increase in yield and quality of hemp products has been established. The most optimal variants were revealed taking into account the purposes of the obtained products. Results. The effect of foliar fertilization with “Izagri Azot” and “Gumat + 7” on the increase of seed productivity, the increase of 0.04–0.17 t/ha, on the increase of stem yield “Izagri Azot” and “Izagri Fosfor”, the increase of 0.5–0.8 t/ha was established. Maximum seed yield (1.10 t/ha) was obtained when sown with seeding rate of 2 million/ha, stems (16.5 t/ha) with seeding rate of 3 million/ha. The content of total fiber was 28.8–32.4 %, long fiber 13.6–17.7 %. Oil content in hemp seeds at 30.5 %, protein content 26.26–29.3 % Root treatments of crops increased protein content in hemp seeds by 0.26–2.5 %. Oil yield was higher in the variant with foliar treatment of “Izagri Azot” (0.33 t/ha) and “Gumat + 7” (0.33 t/ha) at 0.29 t/ha in the control.
