Abstract. The purpose of the study is to create new domestic tomato hybrids for protected soil with high adaptability and increased content of biologically active compounds for functional nutrition. Methods. Research work on selection and hybrid seed production of tomato was carried out according to generally accepted methods, technologies and requirements for the performance of these works. Scientific novelty. 4 new most productive tomato samples were taken in terms of productivity and tasting assessment. A biochemical analysis of the fruits of promising samples for 38 indicators was carried out. Results. The most productive tomato hybrids compared to the F1 Faberge control turned out to be new promising samples 1214-23, 922-23 and F1 Nastavnik, exceeding the control by 2.0–6.4 kg/m2 , or 3.6–12.2 %. It was noted that the most promising samples in terms of productivity against the background of the control option were 922-23, 1214-23 and 122-23, which had a yield of 50 kg/m2 or more. They are recommended for further testing. According to the tasting assessment, samples 1422-23, 922- 23, 1261-23 and 1214-23 were the best. In terms of vitamin C level, the first place was taken by sample 1622-23 with a value of 30.10 mg / 100 g. In terms of the content of water-soluble vitamins, the first place was taken by the following samples: for vitamin В5 (pantothenic acid) – sample 1261-23 (50.07 mg / 100 g), for vitamin В6 (pyridoxine) – sample 622-23 (0.25 mg / 100 g), for vitamin В3 (nicotinamide) – sample 622-23 (1.21 mg / 100 g), by vitamin B1 (thiamine) – sample 1261-23 (3.6 mg / 100 g), by the amount of vitamin В9 (folic acid) – sample F1 Nastavnik with a value of 0.7 mg / 100 g, by the level of vitamin В2 (riboflavin) I place was behind sample 922-23 (1.1 mg / 100 g). In terms of the total number of amino acids, the primacy was occupied by sample 922- 23 – 406.6 mg / 100 g. For further testing, samples 922-23, 1214-23 and 122-23 are recommended.
