Abstract. Corn is one of the main agricultural crops used in the food industry, animal husbandry and biofuel production. Increasing its production contributes to the development of agriculture, strengthening food security and increasing exports of agricultural products. Changes in climatic conditions over the past decades have created new challenges for farmers, requiring the adaptation of technologies for growing and breeding varieties and hybrids resistant to them. Modern technologies can significantly increase crop yields through the use of highly efficient technologies, fertilizers and breeding achievements. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of mineral fertilizers and crop treatment with highly effective humic acid-based fertilizers during the ontogenesis of corn, when cultivating the medium-early hybrid Krasnodarskiy 291 AMR and the medium-ripened hybrid Krasnodarskiy 385 MR on the productive and qualitative indicators of grain in the foothill zone of the Republic of Adygea. The research methods correspond to the Methodology of field experience by B. A. Dospekhov. The scientific novelty of the results obtained during the experiment lies in the fact that for the first time studies with these corn hybrids were conducted on the fused leached chernozems of the republic and some techniques of their cultivation technology were improved, in particular, the treatment of crops with plant growth regulators “Edagum SM” and “O-RISE All inclusive”. Results. The article presents the results of experiments determining the effectiveness of the use of mineral fertilizers (for basic tillage of fertilizers at a dose of N35P60K40 + for row-by-row cultivation at a dose of N30) and growth regulators “Edagum SM” (in the phase of 5–6 real leaves) and “O-RISE All inclusive” (in the phase of 2–3 real leaves). The highest economic efficiency in the experiment – 54.6 % profitability was obtained on the option of applying fertilizers at a dose of N35P60K40 for basic tillage + treatment of corn crops in the phase of 2–3 real leaves with “O-RISE All inclusive” preparation at a dose of 1,0 l/ha + 250 l/ha of water.
