Abstract. Malignant neoplasms occupy one of the leading places among the pathologies leading to death, which, of course, determines the priority of research in this field. The scientific novelty lies in the study of the combined use of a selective COX-2 inhibitor (cimicoxib), and an alkylating cytostatic drug, cyclophosphamide, as a long-term therapy for malignant neoplasms in unproductive domestic animals. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of celecoxib and cyclophosphamide in metronomic mode for malignant neoplasms of various localization. Methods. Clinical studies were conducted at the veterinary clinic of the veterinary clinic “Zoostil” in Volgograd, as well as at the Department of Morphology, Animal Pathology and Biology at the Vavilov University. The object of the study was five dogs and two cats, with a morphologically confirmed diagnosis. Results. A regression of 39.23 % was achieved with neoadjuvant therapy of breast adenocarcinoma. In the case of palliative therapy, stabilization of the process with median life expectancy was noted: in malignant melanoma of the oral cavity for 92 and 273 days; hepatoid carcinoma for 276 and 318 days; osteogenic sarcoma for 367 and 395 days; prostate adenocarcinoma for 288 and 332 days; breast adenocarcinoma (stage IV) for 271 and 304 days. In the case of adjuvant therapy of hemangiosarcoma, the recurrence-free period is over 215 days. By the 90th day of therapy, there was a decrease in the number of leukocytes by 19.34 %, monocytes – 14.82 %, eosinophils – 22.5 %, as well as the percentage of monocytes – 31.16 %. An increase in the percentage of lymphocytes by 33.6 %. An increase in ALT by 27.16 %, urea by 17.85 % and phosphorus by 7.31 %, a decrease in amylase by 10.31 % and creatinine by 6.12 % showed no signs of hematological toxicity. General grade I toxicity was detected in 3 patients.
