Abstract. In conditions of limited budget resources, climate change, lack of growth in the volume, quality of agricultural products and the level of technological equipment for their production, the influence of public-private partnership (hereinafter – PPP) on the performance of regional policy functions in agriculture is increasing, since using this tool it becomes possible to eliminate /reduce the negative impact of these and other problems on the effectiveness of the functioning of domestic agriculture. The purpose of the study is to identify and disclose the relationship between the functions of regional policy in agriculture and PPP, to identify promising areas of application of this tool from the perspective of agricultural development. The research methods were historical and logical methods; methods of observation, description, synthesis and analysis. The scientific novelty of the study is the identification of the impact of PPP on the key functions of regional policy in agriculture, supported by practical recommendations to ensure its effective application in this area of the agricultural sector of the economy. Results. A critical assessment of scientific approaches to the definition of the agricultural sector of the economy and regional management policy is presented. Based on the identification and analysis of the results of the implementation of key functions of regional policy in agriculture, the actual problems hindering its sustainable development are identified. The possibilities of successful solution of these problems on the basis of PPP are substantiated. Practical recommendations have been developed on the use of PPP, which contributes to the effective implementation of regional policy functions in agriculture. The achieved results can be used in the formation of scientific foundations and the development of management solutions for the effective use of PPP in the implementation of regional policy functions in agriculture.
