Abstract. The main key aspects in egg-based poultry farming are the safety of livestock and the level of egg production. The cross of chickens used, properly organized conditions of keeping, feeding and veterinary and sanitary prevention measures at the enterprise can positively influence the quantity, categorization and morphological qualities of eggs produced, and, consequently, ensure the economic effect of the poultry farm. However, as a rule, little attention is paid to the issues of increasing the nutritional value of eggs in poultry farms. The purpose of the study was to determine the amino acid and vitamin composition of poultry eggs when feeding preparations containing phytogenics. Methods. The research was carried out on hens of the Hisex Brown cross, in industrial conditions of cage keeping in JSC “Poultry Farm “Borovskaya” in 2023–2024. The technological parameters of the maintenance and feeding of the experimental poultry corresponded to the recommendations adopted at the poultry farm, compiled in accordance with the guidelines for the maintenance of chicken crosses. The scientific basis of the research was carried out in accordance with the recommended methods of the Federal Scientific Center “All-Russian Research and Technological Institute of Poultry Farming” of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Scientific novelty. For the first time in a comparative aspect, according to the developed schemes, a comprehensive assessment of the impact of new feed additives “Gerbastor” and “Biostrong 510”, including phytocomponents, on the quality of eggs was carried out. Results. The article presents data on the analysis of the amount of amino acids, carotenoids, vitamin B2 in the yolk and white of eggs of laying hens of the Hisex Brown cross, against the background of the use of preparations with herbal components, depending on the age of the bird. It was found that the inclusion of “Gerbastor” and “Biostrong 510” in the diet of chickens has a significant modulating effect on the biochemical composition of eggs, accompanied by an increase in the level of key biologically active substances (carotenoids and vitamin B2) and favorably changing the amino acid profile of egg products, which indicates the prospects of using these additives in the technology of keeping commercial laying hens.

Keywords: amino acids, vitamin B2, carotenoids, biochemical quality of eggs, phytobiotics, laying hens
