Abstract. Reducing the administrative burden on the subjects of agricultural entrepreneurship involves reducing the number of control and supervision measures to verify legal entities and individuals engaged in the production of agricultural products, raw materials and food. However, the analysis of the actual state of Affairs in the field of agriculture shows that not all entrepreneurs comply with the requirements for the quality and safety of products. It is possible to trace the information of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department in the Sverdlovsk region for 2017 outlined in this article. The analysis is carried out by results of control and supervision activity in the field of veterinary supervision, quarantine phytosanitary control, in the field of quality assurance and safety of grain and grain products, in the field of seed control, in the field of state land supervision.
