Abstract: The author carries out the connection between technical modernization of agriculture sector through the introduction of robots and improving reproductive processes, the solution of human problems in the industry, the implementation of development programs by 2020 to create jobs. The definition of the concept of agricultural robot and described his element base. The analysis of the market robots in agriculture and defines the scope of 817 million dollars. The necessity of robotics, as a measure to reduce personnel risks in agriculture. Also described are the main types of robots currently available on the market. These include robots to collect oranges, weeding mechanical robots to hand feed, manure removal with slatted floors, milking robots for automation. The analysis of the major brands of milking robots and defined their market share. Also it’s analyzed the number of milking robots in the territory of the Russian Federation and the Sverdlovsk region. Concluded that no domestic manufacturers of robotics and necessary measures to establish domestic robots. The use of robots helps to increase productivity and leads to structural changes in employment in agriculture, as well as contribute to the implementation of the program of creation of high-performance workplaces to 2020. In the article was done the description of the high-performance workplace. Author gave the tasks to create the domestic agricultural robots. Researchers show an overall approach to the definition of import substitution.
