Abstract. The purpose is to evaluate table grape varieties for productivity, yield and quality in the conditions of the Southern Urals, for use in selection and industrial production. Methods. The article presents the results of a study of 11 table grape varieties conducted according to the methods of M. A. Lazarevskiy, A. M. Negrul and A. G. Amirdzhanov. Planting pattern 1.5 × 3 m, 9 accounting plants for each variety. Covering crop, bush formation fan-shaped, standardless. Agricultural technology is generally accepted for irrigated vineyards, taking into account the weather conditions of the region. Statistical data processing was carried out using the dispersion method according to B. A. Dospekhov. Scientific novelty. The feasibility and prospects of growing a number of table productive and high-yielding grape varieties of commercial quality with a high tasting score in the conditions of the Southern Urals have been established. Based on the results of the research conducted in 2020–2023, productive and high-yielding early ripening grape varieties with a high tasting score were identified. The grape variety Lora (Flora) is the leader with the highest productivity per bush of 4.19 kg with a yield of 9.22 t/ha, and the varieties Ruta (3.91 kg, 8.60 t/ha) and Avgustin (3.87 kg, 8.51 t/ha) also stood out with high productivity and yield. According to the general appearance of bunches, berries and organoleptic assessment over the years of research, table grape varieties with the highest scores were identified: 8.1 points – Lora (Flora) – conical bunch, cylindrical berry with green skin, and 8.2 points – Ruta – conical bunch, blunt-ovoid berry with pink skin. Table grapes of these varieties are of high quality, have a shape, degree of development and color characteristic of the variety to which it belongs, with taking into account the characteristics of the region in which it is grown, and can be recommended for breeding work and industrial production, having commercial and consumer value.
Keywords: grape varieties, ripening period, average berry weight, bush productivity, yield, quality
