Abstract. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the growth regulator “Khefk, VR” and the micronutrient fertilizer “Ul’tramag Kombi Zernovoy” on the productivity and quality of winter wheat. Scientific novelty. For the first time, the effect of these biopreparations on yield and quality was studied in winter wheat crops in the steppe zone of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. Methodology. The studies were carried out in 2021-2023 in the steppe zone of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Oktyabrskoe village, Mozdok district. Of the numerous varieties of winter wheat, two varieties Utrish and Adel’ of Krasnodar selection were studied as the object of research, from biopreparations: the growth regulator “Khefk, VR” and the microfertilizer “Ul’tramag Kombi Zernovoy”. Results. During the experiments it was revealed that the biopreparations increased the plant density by 13.0–14.6 % compared to the control variant, the leaf surface area increased with the use of the “Ul’tramag Kombi Zernovoy” microfertilizer and amounted to 28.2–37.9 thousand m2 /ha. The quality indicators of grain improved, for the Adel variety the content of protein, starch and gluten amounted to 25.7; 71.73; 25.3 %, for the Utrish variety these indicators were slightly lower and amounted to 15.3; 70.44; 25.2 %, respectively. The average yield of winter wheat of the Utrish variety with the use of the growth regulator “Khefk, VR” was 4.02 t/ha, which is 0.92 t/ha or 29.6 % more than the control variant, with (LSD0,5 = 0.46 %), and the yield was 4.44 t/ha or 43.2 % more than the control.
